In this 9-hour course, Certified Educator and Sommelier Dieter Schafer introduces you to wine types, grapes, varietals, and wine regions of the world, as well as the basics of reading a wine label. Gain hints for smart buying, proper storing and aging. Also included are wine-and-food pairing guidelines. Tasting each session. Come enjoy a relaxing evening under the stars with a glass of wine and a movie in our beautiful outdoor amphitheater. Pack up a picnic, bring out your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy our feature film. We will have wine available by the glass or bottle, along with an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages, cheese plates and sweet treats available for purchase. All ages are welcome. Although we love pets and welcome them to our tasting room during business hours, no pets will be allowed during our movie events. No outside alcohol may be brought on-site. Doors open at 7:30pm, movie starts at dusk. $5 per person, includes movie popcorn. Children 5 and under are free. Wine club members free (limit 2 per membership). BluMeadows is a descendant of the Mississippi Choctaw Nation and is a ‘magda vehu’, which means ‘Black Indian’. He discovered the magic of music through his voice and guitar, which he picked up left-handed, at an early age and has been determined to follow an unbeaten path. He entered the music scene in Seattle as a precocious musician with a lot to offer. He could play bass, guitar, sing, write and accompany other artists.
