- Cool Water is a songwriting duo consisting of Brooke Pennock and Wendy McDowell. Cool Water plays folk rocking Americana music consisting mostly of original tunes. Brooke has gained national recognition for her song writing abilities beginning in 2004 with her multi-award winning song “Eddie”. She has won the “Made in Washington’s Best Emerging Artist Award”, the “West Coast Songwriters Award”, and was a Billboard Music Songwriters Finalist. She is currently a finalist in the Dodge commercial contest.
