Join Butler Wine Tours and Bellevue’s Purple Café and Wine Bar for an unforgettable Wine, Buy & Dine Experience. Relax on our elegant and comfortable Mercedes Benz Sprinter as Stuart Butler aka “The Wine Stuart” -- or one of his hand-picked guides -- escorts you to at least three of Woodinville Wine Country’s finest wineries and tasting rooms. Our insider relationships with the winemakers and owners will give you unique access that goes beyond all other wine tours. After experiencing your two and a half hour tasting tour, you’ll be returned to Purple Café where a table will be ready for you to enjoy dinner. The corkage fee is waived on the first bottle of wine purchased during the tour and served at dinner. We’ll have you smiling and laughing all night long! Wine does that, you know. About one of every six adult women in Washington State has been a victim of one or more completed forcible rapes during their lifetime (Source: Rape in Washington: A Report to the State). One in five Washington women reports being injured by domestic violence sometime in her lifetime (Source: The Health of Washington State Domestic Violence, 2004). At least 30 percent of all female homicide victims in Washington State are killed by a current or former intimate partner. (Source: www.wscadv.org). It's Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention Month. Bunnell Family Cellar, Newhouse and Upland Estates are taking an active stand against domestic violence in all forms. For the month of October all tasting fees at the Bunnell Family Cellar, Newhouse, and Upland Estates Tasting Room in Woodinville will be donated to LifeWire, a domestic violence prevention organization located in Bellevue, WA actively working to bring awareness to, and prevent, the epidemic of domestic violence and sexual assault in Washington State. Please join us during the month of October at our tasting room to make your stand against domestic violence.

The Crush Art & Wine Event in the Columbia Gorge

The Columbia Gorge Winegrowers Association and Columbia Center for the Arts and invite you to visit the gallery during harvest, when the bounty of wine grapes are crushed and the joie de vivre of winemaking begins. Starting October 4th, eleven artists from the Gorge and Portland area join together with Gorge wineries to celebrate the sensuality of wine, with wine tastings every Friday in October from 6-8 pm. In addition, join us on the last Friday, October 25th, from 7-8:30 pm for a free presentation and public Q&A on winemaking in the Gorge with winemakers and growers from the region.

Once a year, we give you the opportunity to participate in the most exciting time of year at Two Mountain – harvest and crush. You’ll spend time on the vineyard and in the lab with Winemaker Matt Rawn and Vineyard Manager Patrick Rawn, where you’ll read brix through a hydrometer, take temperature readings, participate in punch-down and learn about the process of fermentation.
