Cheers for Children Winter Wine Crawl
Dates: February 2, 2013 from Noon - 8pm
Cost: $20 - $30
Suport Friends of Mia (www.friendsofmia.org), a local non-profit organization dedicated to funding childhood cancer research and helping local patients and families by drinking some delicious wines at the South Sound Wine Trail Wineries. You will receive a commerative glass to use during the event as well as tastings at each of the participating wineries. Purchase tickets online here. Tickets are also available the day of the event.

- Karen Lovely has shot onto the blues scene from the Pacific Northwest capturing 2nd Place Band Prize at the 2010 International Blues Challenge followed by 2011 BMA Nominations for BEST CONTEMPORARY BLUES FEMALE ARTIST, BEST CONTEMPORARY BLUES ALBUM and BEST SONG for her sophomore release "Still The Rain."
Backed by a stellar band, this powerhouse vocalist delivers a blistering mix of contemporary & old school blues. Lovely's standout performances have garnered awards, critical acclaim and standing ovations at festivals and venues throughout the US and Canada. Summer 2012, she'll be making waves with her first European tour including appearances at Festival Cognac Blues Passions in Cognac, France.
Lovely began singing the blues professionally in September 2007. Her records "Lucky Girl" (November 2008) and "Still the Rain" (March 2010) topped the blues and roots charts and went to #1 on XM Radio's B.B. King's Bluesville's "Pick to Click" list.

- Join us February 2, 2013, 12pm - 8pm, for our Cheers To Children Winery Crawl as we partner with the South Sound Wine Trail. All donations will benefit Friends of Mia.
Description
This year we are so excited to team up with 5 local wineries for a wine tour! These south sound wineries - many of which have won awards - extend from Lacey, Olympia, and Shelton. You will be able to enjoy a variety of hand-crafted wines, and at many of the stops you will be able to meet the winemakers. Each participant will receive a stemless wine glass for their tastings. Wine tastings are complimentary and are provided by the participating wineries. Choose which winery to start at, then you decide where to go from there. A wine trail map will be provided at each location.
Support a great cause!
All proceeds from ticket sales will go to Friends of Mia (www.friendsofmia.org), a local non-profit organization dedicated to funding childhood cancer research and helping local patients and families.
Wineries will be operating on extended hours for this event only.
