Deep ruby core progresses to a dark garnet rim; the color is intense and indicative of a great vintage that is marked by fruit forwardness and elegant tannins. Aromatically this wine is complex displaying cassis, bright raspberry, strawberry preserves and vanilla spice. The oak is perfectly balanced by fruit, which tastes of dark cherry, black currant and vanilla cream.
