Chelan Estate Winery and Vineyard

In the early 90's we planted an experimental vineyard on the North Shore of Lake Chelan. With lessons learned we set out to find a location to grow Pinot Noir. We purchased 8 acres on the cooler South Shore in December of 1999.

Our Story

Our Estate vineyard was planted in 2000. Pinot Noir makes up the majority of the vineyard including Pinot Noir Clones #115, #113 and #13. Lake Chelan's cool south shore is proving to be an ideal location for Pinot Noir. Other varieties include Merlot, Chardonnay and Viognier. In the winery great care is taken to preserve the character of the fruit and the unique expression of the vineyard.

The wines produced from Stillwater Creek Vineyard are the ideal counterpart to the estate wines. Bordeaux varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Merlot and Petite Verdot are proving to be among the best in the state. These grapes produce wines of exceptional character and complex blends.
