Ripe, black berry and black cherry fruit, spice, chocolate and mocha, firm acidity and silky tannins. Layered and complex with a long lingering finish. Any wine called “Reserve” should have a long life. Critical to long life is the natural acidity found in Petite Verdot. Stillwater Creek Petite Verdot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc, with the structure of Cabernet Sauvignon and the foundation of an exceptional Merlot vintage will carry this wine (with proper cellaring) and reward the consumer for many more years.
