Elsom Cellars, Elsom Cellars Malbec

Clearly defining its Washington heritage “The Malbec” shows a pedigree of intense fruit which speaks of its unique cool climate and precarious slope terrain. Planted on the Wahluke Slope, these grapes yield a deep plum colored wine with an intense depth of flavor. Sophisticated elegance meets casual chic. Purity of fruit and high tones of pepper, brown sugar, aromatic spice, and tobacco allow this tannin forward wine to keep its dinner pairing lineage and singular elegance. 18% Alder Ridge Malbec, 73% Gilbert’s Organically Doc Stewart Malbec, and 9% Clifton Merlot. Barrel aged 23 months.155 cases.
