This 100% Estate Riesling from the Lawrence Vineyard comes from the high elevation, south-facing slope of the Frenchman Hills. The fruit was hand picked at peak maturity, gently whole cluster pressed, neutral oak fermented, and aged sur lees for seven months prior to bottling. The wine is a layered gem, rich and generous -- possessing weight and depth, with hints of fresh melons, stone fruits, citrus, green apple and honey with undertones of leesy caramel and lush minerality. This dry style Riesling (0.4%) captures the purity of fruit with a balance of racy acidity. This wine will continue to develop for years to come.
