Lone Canary aims to produce wines that combine the wonderful expressiveness of Washington State grapes with the depth and elegance of wines made in an Old World style. To achieve this, we source our fruit from some of the most acclaimed vineyards in the state, and make the wines with the simplest and gentlest of winemaking methods.
We produce around 4,500 cases, each vintage comprising mostly of red varietals; but, that said, our flagship wine remains the Sauvignon Blanc. While our reds have been predominantly of the Bordeaux varietals, in recent years we have found ourselves moving more towards the Italian varietals - Sangiovese and Barbera - which grow so well in our region. Currently all our fruit is grown for us by premier vineyards in the Yakima and Columbia Valleys.
We are located just a few blocks east of downtown Spokane, and our tasting room is open noon to five, Thursday through Sunday.
