This year’s experience will explore:
** Why winemakers use barrels and where they come from
** What is toast and the sensory characteristics barrels impart in wine, including aroma exploration
** How winemakers care for barrels and use them to craft the perfect blend
Smell, taste & experience your way through the day! Sample a minimum of 3 wines at each winery, including barrel samples and wine in bottle for a compare & contrast journey.
